Management Style and Technology Adoption on Employment

Your Organisation Culture - Part One

Every business has leaders, people with their own character and experiences that shapes how they interact with their colleagues.

How we work together consists of two components: the 'management style' of its leaders and the interactions between leaders and between employees as the 'organisation's culture'. Together these define how an organisation functions and behaves having both a light and a dark side to it in various respects.

This survey confidentially assesses the current organisation culture for your business, with your preference for a future culture for the business.  It uses a well-proven model for organisation culture with additional dimensions to allow for the last two decades of social change.

Team survey

By asking colleagues to include your organisation's name we can make a comparison with this new benchmark if you ask us to.

Completing the survey

You can use the 'tab' key to move through the questions, the whole thing should take fifteen minutes.

Try not to think about your answers, go with what first comes to mind as you read, your initial valuation.

The descriptions overlap and seem contradictory, they are idealistic representations of the real world and reflect that.

Judge between 1 for least, or 7 for strongest for the description to match your organisation's ways of working and for your aspirations/preferences.

This scale means we get a usable perception of your organisation and your aspirations.

There is no right or wrong answer, simply what you feel inside is appropriate.

Any missing responses will be shown in at the foot of the form when the 'Complete' button is pressed. You can go back and amend as you wish then press 'Complete' again.

Data location

All your survey data is held in Switzerland on our own platform, no third party suppliers are involved.

  • *
  • *

  • Your ways of working are: understanding, consensual, sharing mutual responsibilities, appreciative, altruistic, listening, finding the common views, limited by analysis-paralysis, all about the team, fearful of conflict.

  • *
  • *

  • In your workplace: people and leaders accept strong displays of emotion, when things are good you experience positive emotions, when things are difficult you experience strong negative emotions, facts and evidence are ignored, negative emotions are more common than the positive.

  • *

  • In your workplace: evidence and facts are the norm, insight and intuition are little valued, events follow sequences, problem solving is formal, method and process can be obsessive and recursive, complexity is preferred, decisions are often postponed pending further data.

Technology & Employment - Part Two

What is technological automation? It can be described as a technology that can be used within the workplace to automate tasks that would usually be done by a person.

As examples: robotic arms used in the production of cars, voice-controlled computers, Artificial Intelligences, automated web bots that answer questions(s) about a product or service.
